Spain, also known as Kingdom of Spain, is one of the oldest inhabited regions on the planet. Alcorcon is a city of the metropolitan area of Madrid which as of the first of January 2004 had a population of 156,592. It is situated 13 kilometers from Madrid in the south-western direction.  Madrid is the capital of Spain and the third most populous city in the European Union. Madrid is the largest city in Spain, as well as in the province and the autonomous community of the same name as well.
 
The city plays host to the football team El Alcorcon that plays in group 1 of Segunda Division B. The renowned hotels in the city are Express By Holiday Inn Alcorcon and NH Alcorcon. A city known for its historic myths and traditions, scenic beauty, cooperative people and luxurious hotels and cottages, Alcorcon is one of the favorite holiday destinations for most of the vacation lovers.
