El Vendrell
Spain, also known as Kingdom of Spain, is one of the oldest inhabited regions on the planet. It is a country which is located in Southern Europe, and politically organized as a parliamentary monarchy. It is the largest sovereign nation of the three nations that make up the Iberian Peninsula. Administratively, Spain is divided into 50 provinces, grouped into 17 autonomous communities and 2 autonomous cities with a high degree of autonomy. The name Spain comes from the Latin name Hispania whose capital is Madrid which is also the largest city of the Country.
El Vendrell is a town located in Catalonia, a Spanish autonomous community which borders on Valencia to the south, Aragon to the west, France and Andorra to the north, and the Mediterranean Sea to the east and southeast. El Vendrell is wedged between the Mediterranean and the Litoral mountain ranges, in a wine-growing region. It is the capital of the Baix Penedes County. Baix Penedes is a county on the coast of Catalonia, Spain. The area has been settled since the times of the Ibers, with ancient ruins remaining in Banyeres at Can Canyis, in the capital el Vendrell at the village of Guardies and in Calafell at the villages of Toixoneres and la Ciutadella or The Citadel.
El Vendrell enjoys a very good reputation amongst worldwide travelers and hence is one of the most visited places in Spain. A city known for its historic myths and traditions, scenic beauty, cooperative people and luxurious hotels and cottages, El Vendrell is one of the favorite holiday destinations for most of the vacation lovers.
