Salt

Spain, also known as Kingdom of Spain, is one of the oldest inhabited regions on the planet. It is a country which is located in Southern Europe, and politically organized as a parliamentary monarchy. It is the largest sovereign nation of the three nations that make up the Iberian Peninsula. Administratively, Spain is divided into 50 provinces, grouped into 17 autonomous communities and 2 autonomous cities with a high degree of autonomy. The name Spain comes from the Latin name Hispania whose capital is Madrid which is also the largest city of the Country.

Salt is a municipality in the comarca of the Girones in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the right bank of the Ter river next to Girona, with which it was merged from 1974 to 1984. The A-7 autopista and N-141 road pass through the municipality. The Ter is a river in Catalonia north eastern Spain that begins in the mountains of the Pyrenees, passes through the city of Girona, and ends in the Mediterranean Sea at Estartit. Superb carp fishing is to be had by walking 4 km to the rivers mouth with daily catches well over 100 lbs.

A motorway in the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Pakistan, some other Commonwealth nations and Ireland is both a type of road and a classification or designation. Motorways are highways designed to carry a large volume of traffic where a normal road would not suffice or would be unsafe, usually between cities. In the UK they are predominantly dual-carriageway roads, usually with three lanes in each direction, although four-lane and two-lane carriageways are also common, and all have grade-separated access.

Salt, justifiably so, enjoys a very positive reputation with worldwide travelers, and is one of the most visited place. It is also said the place of best geographical environment and can trace its origin back to prehistoric times.
