San Andres del Rabanedo
Spain, officially the Kingdom of Spain, is one of the oldest inhabited regions on the planet. It is a country that is located in Southern Europe, politically organized as a parliamentary monarchy. It is the largest of the three sovereign nations that make up the Iberian Peninsula. Administratively, Spain is divided into 50 provinces, grouped into 17 autonomous communities and 2 autonomous cities with high degree of autonomy. The name Spain comes from the Latin name Hispania whose capital and largest city is Madrid. San Andres of the Rabanedo is a Spanish municipality of 27,199 inhabitants located in the province of Leon. The municipality of San Andres of the Rabanedo is located geographically on the valley of the Bernesga, in the subregion of Territories of Leon, being its organizations of population as residence aureole and lung of expansion of the leonine capital. The Municipality of San Andres of the Rabanedo is an example of cohesion between its Councils. The villa of San Andres of the Rabanedo is slowly losing its rural character for urban villa, with constructions of communities of proprietors, others of tendency to unifamiliar, of permanent residence and several of season residence and break of week ends. This tendency increases on the road axes towards Villabalter and highway of Reed towards Trobajo. On the part of the Fertile valley it tends towards a second nucleus with commercial and industrial character. The district of Pinilla has been developed in diverse phases, with passage of unifamiliares houses to collective, or in isolated or linear form. There is a block of houses of great corpulencia that alters the regular appearance with great impact. This differentiation between fertile valley, desert and mounts has oriented to that the cattle cabin is preferredly bovine to the projection, mainly in ovine Villabalter and to the west, in Ferral. The amplitude of all the territory of its municipal term occupies 6,500 hectares, distributed in three great sectors namely the fertile valley, the desert and the mount. San Andres of the Rabanedo, justifiably so, enjoys a very positive reputation with worldwide travelers, and is one of the most visited place. It is also said the place of best geographical environment and can trace its origin back to prehistoric times.
