Erandio




Spain, also known as Kingdom of Spain, is one of the oldest inhabited regions on the planet. The name Spain comes from the Latin name Hispania whose capital is Madrid which is also the largest city of the Country.
 
Erandio is a town and municipality located in the province of Bizkaia, in the autonomous community of Basque Country, northern Spain. A municipality is an administrative entity composed of a clearly defined territory and its population and commonly referring to a city, town, or village, or a small grouping of them. A municipality is typically governed by a mayor and a city council or municipal council. Municipalities are not necessarily the same as townships. A municipality is a general-purpose district, as opposed to a special-purpose district. In most countries, a municipality is the smallest administrative subdivision to have its own democratically elected representative leadership.
 
Basque Country is an autonomous community with the status of historical region within Spain, the capital of which is Vitoria-Gasteiz Vitoria is the Spanish name. Gasteiz is the Basque name. It is part of the larger Basque native lands, which are also called the Basque Country Basque Euskal Herria.
