Sant Feliu de Llobregat
Spain, also known as Kingdom of Spain, is one of the oldest inhabited regions on the planet. It is a country which is located in Southern Europe, and politically organized as a parliamentary monarchy. It is the largest sovereign nation of the three nations that make up the Iberian Peninsula. Administratively, Spain is divided into 50 provinces, grouped into 17 autonomous communities and 2 autonomous cities with a high degree of autonomy. The name Spain comes from the Latin name Hispania whose capital is Madrid this is also the largest city of the Country. San Feliu de Llobregat is the capital of the Catalan region of the Low Llobregat which is in the province of Barcelona, Spain. It is located in the left margin of the Llobregat river. Its municipal term limits with those from Barcelona, San Cugat of Valle's and San Justo Desvern to the east, Molins de Rey to the north, San Vicente of the Horts to the west and San Juan Despi to the south. Sant Feliu de Llobregat has 42,267 inhabitants. Its density is 3.578, 92 per square kilometer. From the twenth century, factories settled in the city numerous followed by first textiles and metallurgical. On 1948 Radio Sant Feliu with the name of radio youth of San Feliu was based that, in spite of being under the trusteeship of youths of the movement and enjoyed a certain independence. In 1524, the Parochial Church of Sant Lloren was based, that was destroyed during the civil war and that was reconstructed later. Until then, San Feliu depended on the parishes of San Justo Desvern and San Juan Despi. More recently, in 2004, the city was designated host of a new bishopric, the Parochial Church of Sant Lloren. It is native country of the presenter of Stolen Jordi television and of basketball Joan Carles Navarro. A city known for its historic myths and traditions, scenic beauty, cooperative people and luxurious hotels and cottages, San Feliu de Llobregat is one of the favorite holiday destinations for most of the vacation lovers.
