Santa Coloma de Gramenet is a municipality in the comarca of the Barcelones in Catalonia, Spain. It is located on the south-east corner of the Litoral range. It has the Puig Castellar as its topmost point, on the left bank of the Besos River at 299 meters. The municipalities of Sant Adria de Besos and Badalona separate it from the coast. It is basically a suburban area of Barcelona.
 
The place has been colonized from the time of the Iberic period and the monuments of the Iberic village are found on Puig Castellar. The artefacts are stored in a museum in La Torre Balldovina, a building from the eighteenth century. The other well known building consists of the renaissance palace of La Torre Pallaresa and the novecentista Clinica Mental.
 
Santa Coloma de Gramenet is one of the most visited countries, which enjoys a positive reputation with worldwide travelers. It is also said the place of best geographical environment and can trace its origins back to prehistoric times.
