Torrejon de Ardoz
Spain, also known as Kingdom of Spain, is one of the oldest inhabited regions on the planet. The name Spain comes from the Latin name Hispania whose capital is Madrid which is also the largest city of the Country. Torrejon de Ardoz is a town in the urban area of Madrid, Spain. Madrid is the capital of Spain and the third most populous city in the European Union. Madrid is also the largest city in Spain, as well as in the province and the autonomous community of the same name. Torrejon de Ardoz has a population about 110,000 approximately in 2005. This is a town 20 kilometer east of Madrid on the Barcelona highway. It is essentially a dormitory town, mostly consisting of apartments. There is a military airbase in Torrejon de Ardoz which also receives business jets. Its runway can be seen to the right when landing at Madrid's Barajas airport. It is one of the preeminent, historical and potential tourism destinations and is located in the Torrejon de Ardoz province of Spain.
Torrejon de Ardoz is also said to be as one of the best geographical environment and can trace its origins back to prehistoric times. This is evident from the archaeological sites found throughout the Torrejon de Ardoz.
