Tudela

Spain, also known as Kingdom of Spain, is one of the oldest inhabited regions on the planet. It is a country which is located in Southern Europe, and politically organized as a parliamentary monarchy. It is the largest sovereign nation of the three nations that make up the Iberian Peninsula. Administratively, Spain is divided into 50 provinces, grouped into 17 autonomous communities and 2 autonomous cities with a high degree of autonomy. The name Spain comes from the Latin name Hispania whose capital is Madrid which is also the largest city of the Country.

Tudela in Basque Tutera is a small city and municipality in Spain, in the northern province of Navarre. Its population is around 40,000. The 12th century traveller Benjamin of Tudela and the 13th century writer William of Tudela were from the city. On November 23rd, 1808, Napoleon Bonaparte's Marshall Lannes won the Battle of Tudela in the Peninsular War.

This community is located in a very good geographical location by the Lodosa, Ebro River, Tauste and Imperial canals. Nowadays fast trains with two-lane electrified railways and two important freeways which join close to the city serve to make Tudela the capital of Ribera, the agricultural region of lower Navarra.

Tudela enjoys a very good reputation amongst worldwide travelers and hence is one of the most visited places in Spain.
