Villanueva de la Serena
Spain, also known as Kingdom of Spain, is one of the oldest inhabited regions on the planet. It is a country which is located in Southern Europe, and politically organized as a parliamentary monarchy. It is the largest sovereign nation of the three nations that make up the Iberian Peninsula. The name Spain comes from the Latin name Hispania whose capital is Madrid which is also the largest city of the Country. Villanueva de la Serena, a town of western Spain, in the province of Badajoz, near the left bank of the river Guadiana, and on the Madrid-Badajoz railway. Population is 13,489. Villanueva is a clean and thriving place, with good modern public buildings town hall, churches, convents and schools. It is the chief town of an undulating plain, La Serena, locally celebrated for red wine and melons. Grain and hepm are also cultivated, and live stock extensively reared in the neighborhood. Villanueva de la Serena can also be described as the best geographical environment and can trace its origins back to prehistoric times. This is evident from the archaeological sites found throughout Villanueva. Today, one can also learn about its history, from its earliest times and gain enthusiasm in its natural beauty and populace.
